House of Cards Workshop: International Institute of Fine Arts, Modi Nagar, India

For the second edition of Husain's House of Cards workshop, he worked with 20 students selected by the university to participate in a creative discussion and produce a work around the topic of identity and how the evolution of image making can have an effect on it. The images created by the students from the workshop are then combined with Husain's into one collaborative sculpture. The idea is that work incorporates not only Husain’s own voice and imagery on the concept of identity but also the voices and imagery from the next generation of artists. The creative journey is also filmed and shown alongside the installation of the final work.
