Contemporary Indian artist Owais Husain is proud to be one of the artists selected to participate in Encounters 2016, the seventh edition of Mumbai’s public art festival (14 October - 30 November 2016) presented by ArtOxygen. Encounters is at the forefront of a new wave of cultural initiatives bringing an array of engaging arts projects into public spaces in India. This year's festival will feature artworks on view at several cultural and iconic locations throughout October and November. Sites include Victoria Station, JJ College of Art, the Palladium Mall, and ICIA Gallery, with panel discussions organized by ArtOxygen for the participating artists.
